Their story
Breckenridge Brewery was founded in 1990 by Richard Squire in the ski town of Breckenridge, Colorado. It became one of the state's early craft breweries and later moved its main brewing to Littleton, outside Denver.
Anheuser-Busch InBev bought the brewery in 2016, and in 2023 it was sold again to Tilray as part of a larger deal.
How it's made
The brewery makes a year-round lineup including Breck IPA, Breck Lager, Avalanche Ale, Oatmeal Stout and its well-known Vanilla Porter, along with seasonal releases.
Why we carry them
We like Breckenridge for easy, familiar beers with Colorado roots. The Vanilla Porter is a cozy pick for cold nights.
