Their story
Brooklyn Delhi was founded in 2014 by Chitra Agrawal, who first made Indian pickles, or achaar, by hand and sold them at Brooklyn farmers markets. The name reflects the two places that shaped her cooking.
The brand has grown from market stalls to kitchens across the country, reaching more than a million homes, while Agrawal keeps a close eye on every batch.
How it's made
The condiments are now made at a facility in upstate New York, with Agrawal checking each production run for consistency. The lineup includes a tangy Tomato Achaar with tamarind and a mellow Roasted Garlic Achaar.
Why we carry them
We love Brooklyn Delhi for adding big flavor in a single spoonful. Stir the achaar into yogurt, eggs or grain bowls.
