Their story
Browne Family Vineyards is based in Walla Walla, Washington, and was created by Andrew Browne in honor of his grandfather, William Bitner Browne. The elder Browne served in World War II and Korea, practiced law, and first fell for wine as a student at the University of Bordeaux in the 1930s.
Andrew built the brand over many years to show what Washington can do, working with established growers and winemakers. The lineup runs from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot to Sauvignon Blanc, rose, and red blends, with a tasting room in Walla Walla.
How it's made
The winery sources grapes from Washington vineyards and works with experienced growers and a winemaking team to produce both single-variety wines and blends.
