Their story
Bunches & Bunches is the Portland, Oregon bakery of Tamalpais "Pai" Roth McCormick. Born near Mount Tamalpais in California, she grew up partly around her family's organic flower farm in Port Townsend, Washington.
Pai ran a catering business called The Kitchen at Pai's Place before moving to Portland to be near family, where she reshaped it into Bunches & Bunches. Her lineup centers on gingersnaps and airy cloud cookies, with dog biscuits for four-legged customers.
How it's made
Everything is baked in small batches, mixed in a 25-pound Hobart mixer, from recipes Pai developed over years of catering.
