Their story
Bushido "Way of the Warrior" is a sake brewed by Kizakura in Kyoto, Japan, and packaged in a small can for easy drinking on the go. It was introduced to U.S. shelves in 2017 by importer Vine Connections.
The idea was to take premium sake out of the restaurant and into picnics, beaches, and backyards.
How it's made
The sake is made from Gohyakumangoku and Kyo no Kagayaki rice polished to 60 percent and bottled as a ginjo genshu, meaning it is not diluted with water after brewing. It comes in at about 18 percent alcohol in a 180ml can.
