Their story
Caleno was created by Ellie Webb in Bristol, England. During Dry January in 2017 she noticed there were few good alcohol-free options that were not loaded with sugar, and spent about two years developing a recipe in her kitchen.
Ellie's mother is from Colombia, and summers there shaped the brand's color and warmth. The name comes from Cali, her family's hometown, and the bottle features Huitaca, a goddess of dance.
How it's made
Botanicals are extracted to build a balance of citrus, spice, and tropical flavors without alcohol. Ellie developed the blend at home before working with a distilling specialist to scale it up.
I wanted to dispel this myth that if you are not drinking alcohol then you are not having fun.
