Their story

Calumet Farm bourbon takes its name from one of Kentucky's best-known thoroughbred farms. The farm was established in 1924 on about 1,000 acres in Fayette County, outside Lexington, and went on to raise two Triple Crown winners and eight Kentucky Derby champions.

The bourbon is made by Western Spirits Beverage Company of Bowling Green, Kentucky, which also handles brands like Bird Dog and Lexington. In 2025 the team marked the farm's 100th anniversary with a collection of aged bourbons and a rye.

How it's made

Western Spirits has sourced Kentucky whiskey and aged the barrels at its own warehouse in Bowling Green. The anniversary bourbons share a mash bill of 74% corn, 18% rye and 8% malted barley. The range runs from younger releases to single-rack bottlings aged up to 18 years.
