Their story
Celler Bellaserra is run by four friends, Marc Maldonado, Frank Margenat, Carles Muray and Laia Puig, who all spent years in winemaking and wine sales before making wine together.
They work from Masía de Can Planes in Oller del Mas, a traditional Catalan farmhouse whose history reaches back before 1488. Wine was made there for generations, and the group restored the old cellar to bring the Bellaserra name back.
How it's made
The team picks plots across Catalonia, tastes the fruit to time each harvest, and makes the wines with minimal intervention in the restored cellar. The range spans white, red, rosé, orange and pét-nat, including the Superbloom and Supermoon labels.
