Their story
Château Miraval sits in Correns, a village in Provence's Var that has gone fully organic. The château dates to 1841, and its wine cellar was built in 1850 by Joseph-Louis Lambot, the inventor of reinforced concrete. From 1977 it also housed Studio Miraval, where Pink Floyd recorded parts of The Wall.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie leased the estate in 2008 and later bought it, partnering with Marc Perrin of the Rhône's Perrin family to make the wine. In 2021 Jolie sold her share to Tenute del Mondo, part of the Stoli Group.
How it's made
The domaine spans about 400 hectares, with organic vines planted on the valley floor. The Perrin family oversees winemaking for the Côtes de Provence rosé, along with whites and reds. The estate also grows olives on terraced groves.
Why we carry them
We think Miraval is a classic pick for a summer table, a pale and crisp Provence rosé made with real winemaking pedigree.
