Their story
Conundrum comes from the Wagner family, best known for Caymus Vineyards in Napa Valley. Chuck Wagner launched it in 1989 and credits the idea to his father, who loved wine and often blended different bottles together at the table.
It started as a white blend and later added a red. The brand sits alongside the family's other wines, such as Mer Soleil and Emmolo.
How it's made
The white blend combines five grape varieties, and the red includes Zinfandel among its components. The guiding idea is simple: if grapes taste good together, blend them, without being tied to one variety or one region.
