Their story
De Soi pairs singer Katy Perry with master distiller Morgan McLachlan, who is known for her work in Los Angeles craft spirits. The two set out to make a grown-up, bittersweet drink for people skipping alcohol before dinner.
The brand launched in January 2022, first online, with three sparkling aperitifs. It later raised seed funding and moved onto store shelves.
The original flavors were Golden Hour, with citrus and lemongrass, Champignon Dreams, with strawberry and grapefruit, and Purple Lune, with blackberry, vanilla oak and rose.
How it's made
Each aperitif blends botanicals and fruit juices with adaptogens such as reishi mushroom, ashwagandha and maca. The drinks are carbonated and sold in bottles and small cans.
