Distillerie Des Terres Rouges
A traditional distillery in Corrèze making pastis, absinthe, and regional aperitifs.
Their story
Distillerie des Terres Rouges is a traditional distillery in Turenne, a small town near Brive-la-Gaillarde in the Corrèze, in southwestern France.
The distillery makes strong spirits such as pastis and Mythe absinthe, as well as regional aperitifs like a fig aperitif, mustards, and vinegars. Since 2007 it has been part of the family-owned Verdenne group.
How it's made
The distillery builds its spirits and aperitifs from plants, spices, fruit, and other natural raw materials.
Why we carry them
We like this for a taste of the French countryside, from an anise-forward pastis to fruit aperitifs. It is a fun detour from the usual aperitivo bottles.
