Domaine Les Roches Bleues

A family estate on Mont Brouilly making Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly.

Based in
Odenas, Beaujolais

Their story

Christiane and Dominique Lacondemine's Domaine Les Roches Bleues sits in Odenas, on the slopes of Mont Brouilly in Beaujolais.

The estate has since passed to the family's son-in-law, Jonathan Buisson, who has begun converting the vines to organic farming. It makes Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly, with cuvées such as Les Mignonnes de Pierreux, Des Lys and La Baraquée.

How it's made

The domaine works Gamay in the Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly crus, and the vines are in conversion to organic farming. Some cuvées have been aged in large oak foudres.

Why we carry them

Côte de Brouilly is one of Beaujolais's most distinctive crus, and these honest, family-made bottles are a good way to explore it.
