Their story
El Jimador comes from Amatitán, Jalisco, home of Casa Herradura, one of the oldest names in tequila. The brand takes its name from the jimadores, the field workers who harvest agave by hand.
Casa Herradura launched El Jimador in 1994, while the business was still family owned. In 2007 the company's assets were sold to Brown-Forman, which owns and produces the brand today alongside Herradura.
How it's made
El Jimador is made from 100% agave at Casa Herradura's facilities in Amatitán. The lineup runs from blanco through reposado and anejo.
Why we carry them
We keep El Jimador around as a dependable 100% agave tequila for margaritas and palomas. It is an easy pick for a party.
