Their story
This rosé comes from Domaine de la Fouquette, a family property now in its third generation. The estate sits in Les Mayons, a small village in the Var tucked into the Massif des Maures, the wooded range that runs between the Provence interior and the coast near Saint-Tropez.
The family tends about 16 hectares on the lower slopes of the Maures, where the vines catch sun from morning until evening. It is a quiet, rural corner of Provence, away from the busier wine roads.
How it's made
The vineyards grow on clay and schist soils with naturally acidic pH, which help keep the wines fresh. The estate is farmed organically and certified by Ecocert.
Why we carry them
This is the kind of Provence rosé we like to keep cold all summer, dry and easy with food. It comes from a small family estate rather than a big label, and it shows.
