Their story
Frank August is a young bourbon brand that released its first Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon in July 2022. Co-founder and CEO Johnathan Crocker built the name around the idea of being frank: open, honest and direct.
Like many new bourbon labels, Frank August does not run its own distillery. It selects and blends whiskey from a Kentucky distiller it does not name.
How it's made
Each batch is blended from only 10 to 15 barrels. The brand says its whiskey meets bottled-in-bond standards, but because the source distillery is not disclosed, the bottle cannot carry that official label.
