Their story
Gigantic Brewing was founded in Portland, Oregon, in 2012 by Ben Love and Van Havig, two veterans of the city's brewing scene. Havig came to beer after leaving a graduate program in economics.
The brewery opened in southeast Portland's Reed neighborhood, where it still runs a brewpub with a patio, and has grown to several taprooms around the city.
How it's made
Gigantic keeps only a couple of beers year-round, Gigantic IPA and Ginormous Imperial IPA, and fills the rest of its schedule with limited releases that stay out for a few months and are not repeated. Each special release gets an original label from an invited artist, and Massive! returns every year.

We like Gigantic because there is always something new to try. The labels are small works of art, and the IPA is a dependable classic.
