Their story
Ginger Lab is the work of Deb Chang, who left a job in tech in 2016 to make the ginger beer she wanted to drink. She set up shop in Santa Clara, in the heart of Silicon Valley, with a simple aim: a better-tasting ginger beer built on real ingredients.
The lineup has grown from the original into fruit versions like guava, mango, strawberry, cherry and passionfruit, along with a no-sugar-added original for people who want the bite without the sweetness.
How it's made
Each batch starts with fresh ginger and fresh lemon, with no synthetic flavorings, extracts or preservatives. Fruit flavors get pureed fruit, sweetened versions use cane sugar, and the drinks contain no alcohol.
Why we carry them
We like ginger beer that actually tastes like ginger. This one has real heat, works on its own over ice, and makes a sharp mule with or without the spirits.
