Their story

Goodles comes from Santa Cruz-based Gooder Foods, a team that includes CEO Jen Zeszut, former Annie's president Deb Luster, entrepreneur and former Kraft brand manager Paul Earle, and actor Gal Gadot, who has been involved since the start.

The brand launched in 2021 with the goal of updating boxed mac and cheese, a category the founders felt had barely changed in decades. The recipe went through more than 1,000 versions before launch.

How it's made

The noodles are made from wheat flour, wheat protein and chickpea protein, with prebiotic inulin and nutrients drawn from organic vegetables such as kale, spinach and maitake mushrooms. Each box pairs them with real dairy cheese, for about 14 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber per serving.

It's time for a new shakeup.

Why we carry them

This is a weeknight mac and cheese we feel good about keeping in the pantry. Kids like it and grown-ups do too.
