Their story
H2OPS was started in 2014 by co-founder Paul Tecker, and it lays claim to inventing the hop water category. The idea was to give beer lovers the aroma and bite of hops without alcohol, calories, or grain.
The brand won a beverage innovation award in 2018 and is now sold at national retailers. In 2023 it earned USDA Organic certification and moved from glass bottles to printed aluminum cans.
How it's made
H2OPS is brewed with whole organic hop pellets rather than hop extracts or oils, which the company says can taste artificial. The result is unsweetened, gluten-free, and contains no alcohol, grains, or yeast.
