Their story
Hampton Water started with Jesse Bongiovi, who noticed that rosé was the drink of choice at his family's summer gatherings. He brought the idea to his father, Jon Bon Jovi, and the two partnered with French winemaker Gérard Bertrand, whose wineries are in the South of France.
The wine launched in 2018. Jesse and Jon visited Bertrand's estates several times and took part in the blending and tasting sessions before deciding the first vintage was ready.
How it's made
Hampton Water is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvèdre grown in the Languedoc. Gérard Bertrand's team makes the wine, with the founders joining the blending decisions. The style is pale, fresh and mineral.
We found that we shared a love of family, food, friends, and of course, great wine and great music.
Why we carry them
We like Hampton Water as an easy, crisp rosé for warm afternoons and casual dinners. It pairs well with grilled fish and summer salads.
