Their story
Headlands Brewing was started in 2013 by two Bay Area home brewers who shared a love of the outdoors and craft beer. The founders have since moved on, but the brand continues with the same values.
For its first years Headlands brewed in San Francisco and sold to local grocery stores, restaurants and bars. In 2021 it opened its own taproom on Mt. Diablo Boulevard in Lafayette.
How it's made
Headlands brews a range of styles, from pilsner, light lager and hefeweizen to hazy pale ales and IPAs and a barrel-aged sour. Its beer is sold on draft and in cans around the Bay Area.
Why we carry them
We like having a local craft brewery in the fridge case, and Headlands has an easy beer for almost any taste. The hazy IPAs are a crowd favorite.
