Their story
Hudson Whiskey comes from Tuthilltown Spirits in Gardiner, New York, in the Hudson Valley. Ralph Erenzo and Brian Lee built the distillery in 2003 by converting a granary at the historic Tuthilltown Gristmill, and they released the first Hudson whiskey in 2006.
Their bourbons and ryes helped kick off the craft whiskey movement in New York. Scotland's William Grant & Sons bought the Hudson brand in 2010 and acquired the rest of Tuthilltown, including the Gardiner distillery, in 2017.
How it's made
Hudson whiskeys are made with grain sourced from local New York farmers and distilled at the Gardiner distillery. The team there handles production and quality control, with support from William Grant's technical staff.

Why we carry them
We like Hudson as a way to taste what New York grain and a small Hudson Valley distillery can do. A good bottle for bourbon and rye fans looking beyond Kentucky.
