Their story
Huel was started in 2015 by Julian Hearn and nutritionist James Collier in Tring, a market town in Hertfordshire, England. Hearn, an entrepreneur who had already built and sold an online business, struggled to eat a balanced diet on a hectic schedule and teamed up with Collier to solve the problem.
The name is short for "human fuel." The company has since grown well beyond the U.K., with offices in the United States and Germany.
How it's made
Huel products are designed to be nutritionally complete, providing protein, carbohydrates, fats, fiber, and a full range of vitamins and minerals in one meal.
