Their story
If You Care began in 1990 with a single idea: coffee filters did not need to be bleached white to do their job. At the time, the company says its unbleached filters were the first of their kind in North America.
From there the line grew to unbleached baking paper and baking cups, and in 2004 to aluminum foil made entirely from recycled aluminum. Later additions included greaseproof sandwich and snack bags, sponge cloths and reusable cellulose paper towels.
Thirty-plus years on, it is one of the most familiar names in parchment paper in the U.S., and the brown box has become a fixture in home kitchens that bake often.
How it's made
Paper products such as coffee filters, parchment and baking cups are left unbleached and are made to break down after use. The parchment and baking cups are processed chlorine-free, and the foil is rolled from 100% recycled aluminum.
Why we carry them
We reach for this parchment for cookies and roasted vegetables alike. It does the job well and skips a bleaching step nobody needed.
