Their story
Italian Harvest has been importing specialty foods from small, regional producers in Italy since 2000. Its focus is food that reflects how people actually cook and eat across Italy, from local traditions to recipes passed down in families.
One of its longest partners is Pastificio Marella in Puglia, whose colorful pastas use organic, ancient and heirloom durum wheats. The catalog also includes pesto from Ranise, pici from Pastificio Morelli, risotto rice from Riso Carena and chocolate from Majani, among many others.
How it's made
Italian Harvest works directly with its producers, many of them family businesses, to choose products and bring them to the U.S. The range spans pasta, sauces, olive oils, vinegars, rice, legumes, preserves and sweets.
Why we carry them
Italian Harvest helps us stock the kind of Italian pantry goods that are hard to find. Start with a bag of Marella pasta.
