Their story
Just Enough Wines was founded in San Francisco in early 2020 by Jessica Hershfield and Kaitlyn Lo. Hershfield had left a tech job at Lime a few months earlier and set out to make canned wine with a more premium feel.
The first wines, a Pinot Noir and a Chardonnay, launched that fall, and a Brut sparkling wine followed. Each can holds about a glass and a half.
How it's made
The team works with California wineries in specific AVAs, sourcing vintage-dated wine from vineyards certified by sustainability programs such as LIVE and SIP. The wine is made to be enjoyed young, since canned wine keeps for about a year.
