Their story

Kettle Brand began in Salem, Oregon, where Cameron Healy started a natural foods company in the late 1970s. The business made its first potato chips in 1982, and the chips soon became its focus.

In 1988 Kettle opened a second home in Norwich, England, which now serves Europe and the Middle East. The company changed hands several times, going to Lion Capital in 2006, Diamond Foods in 2010 and Snyder's-Lance in 2016. Campbell's has owned it since 2018.

How it's made

Kettle Brand chips are cooked in expeller-pressed safflower, sunflower or canola oil. The company runs production in Salem, with a second operation in Norwich, England.

Why we carry them

We like Kettle Brand for a sturdy chip that holds up to dips. The Sea Salt and Vinegar is a classic for a reason.
