Their story

Glou Glou is one of the best-known bottles from Las Jaras, the California winery started in 2015 by winemaker Joel Burt and comedian, director and food lover Eric Wareheim. The name is French slang for a wine that goes down easily, and that is the whole idea.

Las Jaras set out to make wines with the relaxed spirit of old California, and Glou Glou is the label's most casual expression of that goal: a red meant to be served cool and poured freely.

How it's made

Las Jaras works with grapes from growers in Mendocino County, Dry Creek Valley and Oregon, using minimal intervention in the cellar. Glou Glou is a red blend made for freshness and drinkability, and the winemakers suggest serving it chilled.

Why we carry them

We keep Glou Glou in mind for warm evenings and takeout nights. Give it a short chill and serve it with a margherita pizza.
