Their story
Lazy Food Co. was founded in Chicago in 2021 by Nakul Kapoor and Gaetano Di Benedetto and launched its first products in 2022. The idea was to make a quick weeknight pasta that still tastes like a proper Italian dish.
The range includes classics such as cacio e pepe and broccoli with garlic and oil, along with a higher-protein line made with chickpea pasta.
How it's made
Each shelf-stable pouch holds pasta and a seasoning blend with a short ingredient list. Everything goes into one pot with water and is ready in minutes.
