Their story
Little Book is the blending project of Freddie Noe, part of the Beam distilling family in Kentucky. He is the son of Beam master distiller Fred Noe and the grandson of the late Booker Noe.
Chapter 1, called The Easy, came out in 2017 as Freddie's first release. Whisky Advocate placed it in its Top 20 whiskies of that year, and Little Book has continued as an annual series, with each new chapter built around a different blend.
How it's made
The Easy blends four straight whiskeys with no neutral grain spirits: a 4 year old bourbon, a 13 year old corn whiskey, a 5 year old malt whiskey and a 5 year old rye. It was bottled at a high strength of 60.2 percent alcohol.
Why we carry them
We think Little Book is a fun look at what a Beam family blender does when given free rein. A splash of water opens it up nicely.
