Their story
Little Sun is a Los Angeles beverage brand started in 2025 by husband and wife Trent and Sunny Rohner. They took the calimocho, a Spanish party drink of red wine and cola, and gave it a California twist.
After a soft launch in 2025, the brand rolled out more widely in 2026, landing behind bars and on select shelves across California.
How it's made
Each can blends real California wine with natural soda rather than malt or seltzer. The Classic pairs red wine with cola, and the Blanco pairs white wine with lemon-lime soda. The cans are 5 percent alcohol and skip corn syrup and artificial flavors.
I didn't want to challenge wine itself, but rather create a different and playful way to experience it
