Their story

Lurisia comes from Roccaforte Mondovì, a small town in the mountains of southern Piedmont, where its springs rise about 1,400 meters up on Monte Pigna. The company has bottled water there since 1940.

Over the years Lurisia grew from mineral water into a range of sparkling soft drinks built on traditional Italian recipes and local ingredients. It has worked with the Slow Food movement since 2008, and its bell-shaped glass bottle was designed by the Milan studio Sottsass Associati.

In 2019 Lurisia's parent company, Acque Minerali, agreed to be acquired by Coca-Cola HBC together with The Coca-Cola Company.

How it's made

The water is drawn from high mountain springs on Monte Pigna and bottled still or sparkling. The sparkling drinks follow Italian recipes and use locally sourced ingredients.

Why we carry them

We like Lurisia for its Italian sodas, which taste more grown-up than most. They are an easy non-alcoholic choice at an aperitivo hour.
