Their story
Emily Straus and Dejan Rankovic started Man Cereal in Los Angeles in 2024 with a hunch: plenty of people loved cereal as kids, dropped it as adults because it seemed unhealthy, and never came back.
The name started as a working title and stuck. The brand stirred debate online over it, but the founders say a good share of their customers are women and that the cereal is meant for anyone.
How it's made
The cereal is built on whey protein with coconut oil and starch, and sweetened with low-calorie sweeteners instead of sugar. Each serving adds creatine monohydrate, which the brand says makes it the first widely sold ready-to-eat cereal to include it. Flavors include Cinnamon, Fruity, Salted Fudge and Maple Bacon.
We were calling it 'Man Cereal' as a placeholder, and then it kind of just stuck
Why we carry them
We carry Man Cereal for the gym crowd who still want a bowl of something fun. Think of it as a protein snack that happens to come in a box.
