Method Spirits
New York vermouth made by two bartenders for classic cocktails.

Their story
Cory Fitzsimmons spent more than a decade behind New York City bars, including a stint as head bartender at Union Square Cafe. Jess McGlinchey came to the same bar team from a very different career as a biological oceanographer, and she brought a scientist's habit of testing and refining.
The two could not find a local vermouth that worked the way they wanted in classic cocktails, so they decided to make their own. They raised the money through a Kickstarter campaign and now make both a sweet and a dry vermouth.
How it's made
Method uses wine and brandy from upstate New York grower-producers who farm sustainably, combined with traditional recipes. The dry vermouth takes its cue from the light, floral style of Chambéry in France, balancing fruit, flowers and savory herbs with a gentle bitterness.
Why we carry them
A vermouth made by bartenders, for drinks. We like the dry in a martini and the sweet in a Manhattan, or either one over ice with a twist.
