Their story
Christopher Pham started growing microgreens, herbs and vegetables in Baton Rouge because he wanted to eat better. Before long he was supplying friends, local chefs and Louisiana shops from his small urban farm.
When the pandemic shut restaurants and his orders dried up, he needed a new way to keep the farm going. With help from his grandfather, he began turning the farm's herbs into Asian-style condiments, starting with fried chili oil and crunchy garlic oil. The brand's mascot is Gazpacho, a cheerful little micro plant.
How it's made
The oils are built around herbs grown on Pham's own urban farm, using Asian-style recipes he developed with his grandfather. The lineup includes Fried Chili Oil, Crunchy Garlic Oil and Spicy Lemon Oil.
Why we carry them
A spoonful of the crunchy garlic oil makes plain rice, eggs or noodles into a meal. We like the farm-to-jar story here too.
