Their story
Midnite Granola comes from Midnite Bagel, the San Francisco bakery started by Nick Beitcher, formerly the lead bread baker at Tartine. It began in 2019 as an evening bagel pop-up at Tartine, and after Beitcher left early in the pandemic he kept it going at the Ferry Building Farmers Market and in local grocers, baking out of a commissary kitchen in Dogpatch.
In May 2022 Midnite Bagel opened its own shop on Irving Street in the Inner Sunset, with a pastry case that included this black sesame, coconut and pecan granola.
How it's made
Oats and pecans are coated in a mix of organic Soom tahini, clover honey, agave, brown sugar and molasses, then baked hot and fast until toasty. The granola is finished with black sesame, toasted coconut chips and dried cranberries.
Why we carry them
A neighborhood bakery granola made right here in San Francisco. The tahini and black sesame give it a nutty depth we love over yogurt.
