Their story
Mina is named for the mother of co-founder Fouad Kallamni. She was born and raised in Casablanca, where she learned the traditional Moroccan recipes that became the basis of the brand.
The company is based in New York and started out selling to specialty stores. Harissa was the first product, followed by mild and green versions, a shakshuka sauce, and a set of tagine cooking sauces. The line has since grown to include Moroccan teas, couscous, preserved lemons, olives, and argan oil.
How it's made
Recipes are built around how Mina cooks at home, and a product does not go to market unless it matches that taste. The tagine sauces are vegan, and the teas in the range are grown in Morocco.
Our featured pick
Moroccan Dry Cured Black Olives (7OZ)
$8.00
These authentic dry-cured black Beldi olives are prepared the way they have been for centuries: carefully hand-picked at peak ripeness, cured in sea salt for three months, then lightly coated with.
If it doesn't taste the way she makes it at home, we don't produce it.
Why we carry them
We reach for Mina's harissa when eggs, roast vegetables, or a simple soup need some heat and depth. The shakshuka sauce makes a quick weeknight dinner easy.
