Their story
Monday started with Chris Boyd waking up after a birthday night out and wanting a drink that would not cost him the next day. Soon after, he ran into Ben Acott at the gym, and the two decided to build a zero-alcohol spirit together.
They funded the launch through Kickstarter, starting with Monday Gin, and later added a whiskey and a mezcal. The brand now ships to customers in all 50 states.
How it's made
Monday developed its recipes with Rob Rubens of R6 Distillery in Los Angeles, tasting dozens of versions before settling on the first. The gin is made in a bold, London Dry style without alcohol.
Because tomorrow is Monday and I have things to do, and I want to do those things well.
