Morgan Territory Brewing
Award-winning East Bay brewery named for a ranch on Mount Diablo.
- Based in
- Tracy, California
Their story
Morgan Territory Brewing takes its name from a historic ranch on the morning side of Mount Diablo. The brewery is based in Tracy, California, and has a second location in Pleasant Hill.
Brewmaster Craig Cauwels leads a team that has collected a long list of medals. In 2026 Morgan Territory was named Brewery of the Year in its size category at the Great American Beer Festival, after also taking Brewery of the Year at the Brewers Cup of California.
How it's made
The brewery makes a wide range, from traditional styles to modern craft beers. Medal winners include Snap Shot cream ale, Fire Exit chili beer, Raven's Home imperial stout, and Old Diablo, an English-style barley wine.
Being recognized as Brewery of the Year at the Great American Beer Festival is a lifetime goal for our entire team.
Why we carry them
Morgan Territory is one of the best breweries in the Bay Area right now, and the medals back that up. Start with the cream ale and work your way up.
