Their story
Mythology Distillery was dreamed up by three Denver natives on a 2016 heli-skiing trip in Alaska. Two years later they opened a distillery and cocktail bar on Tejon Street in Denver's LoHi neighborhood, and they have since added production in Steamboat Springs.
The spirits are led by master distiller Scott Coburn, who was previously head distiller at High West. The lineup includes Hell Bear American Whiskey, Best Day Rye, a vodka and Foragers Gin, made with botanicals foraged in partnership with Denver Botanic Gardens.
How it's made
Mythology distills in small batches on a custom-built Vendome copper still. Hell Bear blends rye with older bourbons, while Foragers Gin draws on Colorado botanicals.
