Their story

Nassau Free comes from the Henrich Habel distillery in Germany, a family business where the craft of distilling has been handed down through the generations. The house is best known for its handmade single malts, sold under the Nassau name.

The distillery dates to 1878. Nassau Free is its answer to drinkers who want the character of a malt whiskey without the alcohol, built to echo the aromas of the family's own Nassau single malt.

How it's made

Nassau Free is designed around the flavor profile of the distillery's Nassau single malt whiskey. It is bottled under 0.5% ABV and is meant for long drinks and cocktails rather than as a direct stand-in for a neat pour.

Why we carry them

We like that this one comes from people who actually make single malt. Try it in a highball when you want a whiskey-style drink without the proof.
