Their story
Domaine Nerantzi is a small family winery in Pentapolis, a village in a fertile valley near Serres in northern Greece. The estate sits among vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees, with mountains on the horizon.
The winery was founded in 1998 and has focused on the grapes of its corner of Greece, including the local Asprouda Serron and Koniaros, alongside Assyrtiko and Malagousia. The Malagousia is one of its signature whites.
How it's made
The vineyards are farmed organically. In the cellar the family takes a hands-off approach, using indigenous yeasts and aiming for wines that reflect the site.
Why we carry them
Malagousia is a great pick for anyone who likes aromatic whites, and this bottling from an organic family estate is a fine way to get to know it.
