Their story
Nomadica is the work of Kristin Olszewski, a sommelier who wanted good wine to be easy to bring along. She launched the California brand in 2020 with a simple focus: well-made wine, sold only in cans.
The lineup covers red, white, rosé and sparkling, plus seasonal releases like an orange wine. Olszewski picks unexpected grapes, such as a red made entirely from Teroldego and a sparkling white built mostly on colombard.
The idea is to meet people where they are, at a picnic or on a hike, without asking them to give up on quality.
How it's made
Nomadica buys grapes from sustainable growers along the West Coast. The wines are made in a natural style, which suits the can, and blends like chardonnay with colombard or chardonnay, grüner veltliner and albariño are built for freshness.
Why we carry them
We think Nomadica proves a can can hold a serious wine. They are a smart pick for the beach, the park or a weeknight when you only want one glass.
