Their story
O My Bag was started in Amsterdam in 2010 by Paulien Wesselink, who wanted to make good-looking leather bags that people could buy without second thoughts about how they were made.
Before choosing partners, Wesselink visited a long list of factories and tanneries in India. She settled on suppliers that offer safe workplaces, fair wages, benefits and training, with equal pay for women. The brand has grown from a small Amsterdam start-up into a label sold across Europe and beyond.
How it's made
O My Bag sources its materials and produces its bags in India, working with suppliers vetted for fair pay and good working conditions. The bags are made from more eco-friendly leathers and designed in Amsterdam.
