Their story

Once Upon a Farm was started in 2015 by Cassandra Curtis and Ari Raz, who set out to bring fresher, refrigerated food to the baby aisle. Former Annie's CEO John Foraker and actress Jennifer Garner later joined as co-founders.

Garner's family farm in Locust Grove, Oklahoma, in operation since 1936, is part of the brand's story, and she has spoken about wanting to connect kids to the farm early.

The company was the first to sell cold-pressure-protected baby food at retail and now offers pouches, bars, frozen meals and snacks in more than 22,000 stores.

How it's made

Once Upon a Farm uses organic fruits and vegetables and protects its pouches with cold pressure rather than high heat, which helps keep flavor and color closer to fresh. Many products are sold refrigerated.

Why we carry them

We like Once Upon a Farm for parents who want a fresher, organic option on the go. The refrigerated pouches taste more like real fruit than shelf-stable versions.
