Their story
Orka was started by Michael Moriarty and Nash Hale, college classmates from Georgetown who were working in tech when they began sketching out a different kind of energy drink in 2021. About a year later they quit their jobs to pursue it full time.
Getting the drink into its clear can was not easy. The founders went through several failed production runs that used up much of their early friends-and-family funding before launching on Amazon in March 2024 with Mint, Raspberry White Tea and Mango Peach flavors.
How it's made
Each can holds purified water, 150mg of natural caffeine, L-theanine, natural flavor and citric acid. There is no sugar, no calories, no carbonation and no artificial sweeteners, so it drinks more like a lightly flavored water than a typical energy drink.
Combining it with our natural caffeine gives you smooth energy without the jitters.
