Petersen Family Farm
A multigenerational Utah farm growing non-GMO popcorn by hand.
Their story
Petersen Family Farm sits along the Jordan River in a quiet corner of Utah. Luke Petersen, who grew up working these fields, now looks after the land his family has farmed for generations.
The farm began as a small operation in the 1940s, started by Luke's Danish ancestors. Today its signature crop is popcorn, sold as whole popcorn on the cob for the microwave and as colorful calico kernels in a bottle.
How it's made
The farm grows non-GMO popcorn using methods handed down through the family. The ears dry naturally in the field before they are picked by hand.
Why we carry them
We love handing someone popcorn still on the cob and watching them try it. It's a fun, simple snack with a family farm behind it.
