Plantador
Additive-free Highlands tequila from the Vivanco family's estate agave.

Their story
Plantador comes from the Vivanco family, longtime agave growers in the Highlands of Jalisco who also make the Viva México label. The tequila is produced at their Destilería El Ranchito (NOM 1414) near Arandas, a town known for the red soils and sweet, aromatic agave of Los Altos.
The range is kept simple: a classic Highlands-style blanco, and a Gold expression that blends the blanco with a little reposado for a touch of barrel character.
How it's made
Plantador is made from organic agave grown on the family's own estate. The Vivancos work without additives, and the distillery is known for unusual touches such as playing music to fermenting agave, which they call sonic harmonization.
Why we carry them
We like Plantador as a clean, honest blanco from a family that grows its own agave. It is an easy pick for margaritas or sipping on ice.
