Their story

Prospero is built around Stella Anguiano, one of the first women to work as a tequila distiller in Mexico. She makes the tequila at the Don Roberto distillery in Jalisco.

The brand launched in the United States in 2019 as a partnership between Anguiano, singer Rita Ora and Conecuh Brands of Garden City, New York. The line covers a blanco, a reposado and an anejo.

How it's made

Prospero is made in Jalisco and bottled by hand in six-sided glass bottles. The labels are hand-drawn and applied by hand.

Behind every successful family is a strong woman who serves as the heart and backbone.

Why we carry them

We like Prospero as a well-priced tequila with a woman distiller behind it. The reposado is an easy pick for margaritas or sipping.
